Stoneware vessel with laterite slip, wood fired in an anagama kiln for 6 continuous days and reduction cooled. The deep burgundy colors are not a glaze, but simply the interaction of the laterite slip with the wood ash in the kiln environment. This piece has an interesting burst of silver.
